The story of Manici Çiftlik
Manici Çiftlik is a farm and place to stay on 250 dönüm (about 25 hectares) of land in Ayvacık, Çanakkale, near Assos, run on the principles of sustainability. Guests stay in villas and safari tents set in nature and get to know the dairy, the vegetable garden and the animals up close.
The farm
Manici Çiftlik
Manici Çiftlik is a place devoted to the nature of Çanakkale. It was founded with sustainability, respect for the environment, curiosity and animal welfare in mind. On this land between Assos, Yeşilyurt, Behramkale and the Ancient Harbour, we host guests while protecting its natural beauty and history.
We farm without pesticides or synthetic chemicals, respecting the natural cycle and doing no harm to the environment. We invite our guests to witness a life lived in harmony with nature.
The farm
Animals and the dairy
Jersey cows, black goats, kids, geese, ducks, chickens and donkeys live on the farm. Our animals roam natural pastures and are fed a balanced diet; their welfare comes first.
Fresh milk from the morning milking is turned into cheese and dairy products in our dairy, with nothing added and by traditional methods. The animals' manure, in turn, feeds the soil of the vegetables and fruit we grow from heirloom seeds.
We use no chemical fertilisers or harmful pesticides and keep the soil fertile with natural manure. Alongside dairy, fresh vegetables, fruit and eggs are the farm's everyday produce.

We take our cue from nature's abundance and produce sustainably. We stay away from chemical fertilisers and harmful pesticides and enrich the soil with natural manure and traditional growing methods, keeping it in balance and the produce rich in nutrients.
Through water management, energy saving, recycling and eco-friendly packaging we protect natural resources, aiming to pass the nature of Çanakkale on to future generations.

Our villas combine modern comfort with the warmth of nature; they are built from natural materials and shaped by a design approach that values recycling. Generous living spaces and private terraces make for a peaceful stay.
The safari tents are for those who want to be closer to nature. Built with environmentally friendly materials, they bring modern comfort and natural beauty together.
